You are the glue that holds so much together, even when no one notices. So here are two songs for you—one to say thank you for your faithful effort, and one to encourage you through the hard days.
If no one has told you lately: you matter. Thank you for being the kind of teacher students never forget. On the days you feel tired or unseen, I hope these songs remind you that what you do is important—and you’re making a difference.
If you’re looking for something simple and quiet for younger children, I also made a coloring book to go along with the theme of Biblical imaginative play.
Coloring is one of those wonderful Sabbath activities that:
If you’ve ever wondered, “What can my kids do during Sabbath hours that’s fun, peaceful, and still meaningful?” — you are not alone.
Sabbath is such a gift, but keeping little ones engaged can sometimes feel like a challenge. Kids naturally want to move, explore, and play… and honestly, that’s not a bad thing! The goal isn’t to keep them perfectly still — it’s to help them learn to love and treasure the Sabbath hours.
That’s exactly why I’m so excited to share a new song: Sabbath Story Adventure. This song was created to inspire children to enjoy Sabbath in a joyful, kid-friendly way—through imagination, movement, and Bible-centered fun. This music video is meant to spark ideas and give kids a starting point for Sabbath fun. It’s lighthearted, wholesome, and encourages children to step into a Bible-time “adventure” using their imagination.
Why Pretend Play Is a Sabbath Superpower
One of the sweetest ways kids learn is through pretend play. When children act out Bible stories, they aren’t just “playing”… they’re actually:
remembering what they heard
connecting with the story emotionally
practicing kindness, courage, and faith
building a deeper love for Jesus
But here’s the truth: pretend play can be hard at first, especially for kids who aren’t used to it.
Some children need time to warm up. They might feel unsure, awkward, or not know what to do. That’s totally normal! With a little practice and encouragement, pretend play can become one of their favorite things—especially on Sabbath afternoons when the day feels long.
The key is to make it easy to start and fun to continue.
Present Truth Music Blog is an extension of my YouTube channel, created to be a place where we can go deeper than a video alone can.
This space is all about present truth—music that points hearts back to Jesus and helps us draw closer to Him in a real, personal way. Whether the songs are for kids, adults, or the whole family, my prayer is that every lyric and every message will encourage faith, build hope, and keep our focus on what matters most.
On YouTube, you’ll find the music—songs, videos, and performances. But here on the blog, you’ll find the extras:
the heart and meaning behind each song
deeper thoughts on the topics the songs cover
Scripture connections and devotional-style reflections
resources that extend the message (for individuals, families, and kids)
musical tools and helpful links for learning, singing, and growing
I want this to be more than just a place to listen—I want it to be a place to learn, reflect, and live out the message in everyday life.
